if I had actually completed the reading textbook in Art 385 W, would that give me some hopes of beginning to understand this type of thing? or is it the type of work that you need to be in the physical presence of to really and truly and fully understand?

should I be seeking the conservative relief of more straight-forward options like Brewer Christian College for grad school and knocking Yale, Columbia and UCLA off the block? I'll put that under the "maybe" column.

I googled Pthalo Blue to find out that it is the cleanest and most powerful of all blues. Powerful, maybe. Annoyingly lingering between the hairs of all my brushes, definitely. http://www.paintchick.com/Tutorials/heartstutorial.htm

That's some guy with babies all of over him, a weird snowboarder burglar guy, and that freaky twin from The Shining. Who knows.

Der Bloggo-

Blog27

this looks something like the German heart throb band Tokio Hotel, except with a Trustafarian edge.

I know this is not Der Spiegel, but looks important enough to be translated!

Someone please help! Anyone?

OATUS

Hi all,
please take a look at these Fun Internet Acronyms. They might make blogging funner for you, IMHO, Professor Bell.

Secondly, I'm trying to post some photos from the weekend in art. The one here is from the DAC opening on Friday night. Imagine a man with long gray hair and a cowboy outfit. That is the person who made this vegetable tray. Can you see that it's a reproduction of The Scream?

Jeff, PTMM about your food vision for tonight's meeting... I was thinking Saltines and juice boxes?

I end this transmission with a plug for what would be our Sister Blog, Allied Inter-arts.

Nope.

Jeff, cookies are unacceptable. I think it needs to be some of that nice spinach dip that comes in the bread roll. Or corn dogs would work too. Think about it...

cybereducation

Very nice work, gang- I think that I could really come to embrace this distance learning thing.
I'll see you tomorrow.

Chad C.

By the way, here are my new logo designs- do you think I should include them in my February Show?

how do cookies sound to everyone?...I really don't know what type of foods are in order for something like this. Do I need to learn how to prepare duck? Caviar? Kristin, I think we need to coordinate something tomorrow.

DAC Members Show

Jeremy's got some work in the Durango Arts Center Members Show. The opening is tonight from 5 till probably about 7 PM.

Colorado Art Ranch is hosting events tonight through Sunday at DAC, starting 7 PM and going to 9 PM. You may have heard about Tex Jernigan coming through town with his nomadic sculptures. He and Dominique, his companion will be involved with the CAR series this weekend.

Hope to see you all down there tonight and this weekend.

Heyyy

Jeff, can you feegure out how to make a post on artblog from your account? there is a button that is a little icon of a landscape on the post editor. you click that and then upload your pic from there.
